About the Role

We're looking for a passionate UI/UX & Product Designer to join our team. You'll help design meaningful digital experiences that create real opportunities for talented people in Gaza and beyond. You'll own the design process across our digital platforms, program pages and internal products, from research and ideation through to final, developer-ready designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design user interfaces for TAQAT's websites, web apps and mobile experiences.

• Conduct user research (interviews, surveys, usability tests) and turn insights into design decisions.

• Create user flows, wireframes and interactive prototypes.

• Build and maintain a consistent Design System aligned with TAQAT's brand identity.

• Work closely with developers so designs are implemented accurately, and deliver clean, well-organized files.

• Collaborate with program and marketing teams to understand user needs and business goals.

• Analyze product performance after launch and propose improvements based on data and user feedback.

• Make designs accessible and support both Arabic and English (RTL/LTR) layouts.

Requirements

• 1+ years of hands-on experience in UI/UX or Product Design.

• Advanced proficiency in Figma (Auto Layout, Components, Variants, Prototyping).

• Solid understanding of UX principles, visual hierarchy, typography and color.

• Experience designing responsive interfaces for web and mobile.

• Ability to explain design decisions clearly and respond well to feedback.

• Good communication skills in Arabic and English.

• Self-motivated and well-organized, able to work remotely and meet deadlines.

Nice to Have

• Experience with user research and usability testing.

• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or familiarity with developer workflows.

• Experience building or managing a Design System.

• Familiarity with tools like FigJam, Maze, Hotjar or Notion.

• Previous experience with international teams, or with education or employment platforms.
