Bright Gaza is hiring a proactive Senior QA Engineer for one of our technology clients. You will make sure their web platform stays reliable, fast and easy to use. You will work closely with developers, product managers and designers to create, maintain and run detailed test plans that keep the software stable, scalable and bug-free.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain manual and automated test cases for web applications
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Perform functional, regression and exploratory testing across the application
- Identify, document and track bugs and inconsistencies using tools like Jira
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to understand features and workflows
- Participate in release planning and CI/CD testing processes
- Monitor production issues and help reproduce and diagnose defects
- Drive continuous improvements in QA processes and standards
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in software QA or testing roles
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience testing modern web applications (React, Next.js, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium)
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia, Swagger)
- Familiarity with Git, CI tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.) and agile workflows
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first team
Nice to Have
- Experience with performance/load testing tools
- Familiarity with Azure services (App Services, Static Web Apps)
- Writing test automation scripts in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python
- Experience testing localized / internationalized (i18n) applications
